The Taiwanese manufacturer Team Group prepares, also to commercialize an equipped with SSD of a SandForce SF-22xx controller. Her baby is the name of Xtreem S3. Each of these drives offer a 550 MB/sreading flow. Write flows reach 480 MB/sec for the 60 GB model, 500 MB/s for the 120 GB drive and 520 MB/s for the 240 GB. For the moment, the characteristics of the 480 GB model are unfortunately not known.
Xtreem Team Group S3 SSD are covered by a builder warranty of two years. Prices are not known at the time that it is but we should learn more in the coming days...
