Bethesda Softworks, Publisher of role-playing PC, threat of prosecution the Swedish creator of MINECRAFT, Notch.
Notch, now responsible of a true development studio (Mojang), must confront the threats of the American publisher Bethesda Softworks (Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion but Fallout 3 and New Vegas) concerning the name of the new project of Mojang, Scrolls, which, according to the American giant, is an improper use of a name. The Swedish studio argue in his defence, that no set specifically named Scrolls exists to this day and has proposed to add a subtitle to avoid confusion between the two series to counsel for the Publisher, proposal remaining letter-dead to date. End of ROUND 1.
Start of ROUND 2. Notch, visibly irritated by the attitude of Bethesda, has recently tried to find a new friendly solution; It has indeed proposed to settle the conflict through a competition team-deathmatch in Quake III Arena (SPF next to which it is unthinkable to be passed if you like the kind in 1999 and which is also, incidentally property of ID Software, Bethesda property, himself property of ZeniMax Media Inc. etc etc...). Whereas the previous reactions of the American camp, there is very little likely that he received a reply positive, or even that counsel for the American giant taste to joke. However, ridiculous claims of Bethesda (and attitude "Taunt Inside" of Notch) never fail to address the heart of the players on the other hand than his own, on the eve of the imminent Rage and Skyrim. Bethesda has still not updated officially expressed on the subject.Enregistr?s users can leave a comment.
