No, the platform LGA775 yet said its last word. Shuttle has indeed launched in Europe the XG41, a compact barebone (242 x 200 x 73 mm) based on a card mother G41 and therefore able to accommodate any Core 2 Duo, Pentium Dual Core, Celeron Dual-Core or Celeron 4xx in socket LGA775, provided that the TDP of the processor exceed not 65W.
With two connectors DDR3-1066 (for a maximum of 8 GB of memory), three ports SATA 3 Gbps, located 3.5 inches (which can also accommodate a drive optical slim) and two slots 2.5-inch, the XG41 comes with a 90W power. Two Gigabit Ethernet connectors, a Mini-PCIe port, a controller 5.1 audio and DVI and HDMI output complement it. The manufacturer finally announces a public price of 159 euros, excluding taxes.
