Japanese Toshiba released a new ultra thin tablet at the cost of appeal of €425 with a bundle of rather complete connectors.
Just a few days after the announcement of the new iPad, Toshiba counterattack by presenting its next tablet. Named Excite 10, it is therefore show that Toshiba knows how to make shelves that can compete with that of its direct competitor by adding it to the side of another existing model, the Thrive.
Rated specifications, according to the Canadian site of Toshiba, the new Tablet would be finer than its competitor since it measures only 7.6 mm for a weight 535 g content. On the sheet, we can also read that it is animated by a Texas Instruments OMAP 4430 in dual-core slightly overclocked to 1.2 GHz Cortex A9 architecture and PowerVR SGX540 graphics part, all accompanied by 1 GB of RAM. The screen is 10.1-inch IPS, with a definition of 1280 x 800. Behind, a rocking camera is present and recorded in 1080p and a second camera on the front of 2 Mpx for visio for example calls. To complete all, Toshiba has equipped its Tablet chip GPS, gyroscope, Bluetooth 2.1 and WiFi b/g/n of a microSD card reader of a mini USB port and an HDMI outlet in micro format.
First delivered under Android Honeycomb 3.2 and then Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 assures us, it will be declined in two models. A first version of 16 GB proposed at about €425 and a second version of 32 GB to €475. Two new models that titillate our curiosity by offering a fine ultra product at a competitive price that we look forward to see arrive in France, which should no longer delay.
