Three new motherboards Z68 came to be formalized by Asus: the P8Z68 Deluxe/GEN3, P8Z68-V Pro/GEN3 and P8Z68-V/GEN3. Expected for the month of October, these three models compatible with future Ivy Bridge of Intel processors already support the PCI Express 3.0 with the presence of an Asmedia ASM1480 IC chip.
These three mainboards have therefore a floor of DIGI + VRM power 16-phase, two ports PCI-Express 3.0/2.0 16 x (configured in 8 x / 8 x CrossFireX or SLI), a third port PCI-Express 2.0 16 x (cable 4 x), four port USB 3.0, 12 USB 2.0 ports and a controller Bluetooth 2.1. The number of connectors SATA 6 Gbps, 3 Gbps SATA and eSATA however varies with the model. The Deluxe model has two Gigabit Ethernet connectors but lacks video output, while versions Pro and V have a Ethernet Gigabit controller but have output VGA, DVI and HDMI.
Side tariff, the P8Z68 Deluxe/GEN3, P8Z68-V Pro/GEN3 and P8Z68-V/GEN3 are displayed respectively 229 EUR, 185 euros and 159 euros (recommended public price).
