The constructor Taiwanese Asus initiating (finally) its famous Asus Eee Pad Slider in a few weeks...
ASUS we had presented its Eee Pad Slider shortly before the opening of CES 2011. This tablet with sliding keyboard just appear on the website of the Taiwanese manufacturer. The SL101 273 x 180.3 x 17.3 mm and it weighs 960 grams. It has a touch screen of 10.1 inches with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, and exploiting a backlight led. In the heart of the beast include an Nvidia Tegra 2 (dual-core) processor 1 GHz, accompanied by 1024 MB of RAM.
Storage is assigned to 16 or 32 GB of memory flash, as well as a microSD slot. The connectivity of this Eee Pad includes WiFi 802 .11n ready and Bluetooth 2.1. Include a front webcam 1.2 megapixel and 5 mgpx to the back sensor. The new Asus tablet takes advantage of an accelerometer, digital compass, and ambient light sensor. Its battery of 25 Wh would reach about 8 hours of autonomy. This SL101 will be provided with Google Android 3.1. It is expected during the month of September in two colours (Brown and white), with probable labels of €479 and €599. This seems a bit high given the characteristics of the device, but it is that of rumours...
