Motorola is finally poised to launch Bionic Droid. The latest smartphone to disembark in the famous American manufacturer's range will be marketed from tomorrow by Verizon. Droid Bionic integrates a 4 G/LTE modem, but it is not its only asset. Indeed, it sports a beautiful touch screen 4.3-inch resolution 960 x 540 pixels, protected by a Gorilla Glass qHD. A dual-core processor 1 GHz, accompanied by 1024 MB of RAM are at the heart of the beast.
The storage of the device is assigned to 16 GB of flash memory and a microSD slot. The last baby of Motorola is also a 8 megapixel camera with flash and auto focus sensor (who can also shoot in Full HD 1080p). A webcam is also of the party, and a module WiFi 802 .11n ready.
This smartphone comes with Google Android 2.3.4 coupled to the latest version of the wrapper House: Blur. Also note its compatibility with the Atrix docks system. Motorola offers its Bionic Droid $ 299 with a two year contract. It has therefore case to a high-end model, even if this high rate mainly of support for the LTE. This smartphone will be obviously not compatible with French networks. However, it proves that Motorola may move to tackle HTC (who proposed his Thunderbolt for some months already).
