GScreen has presented its SpaceBook 17, a laptop computer with two monitors 17 inches. It is offered in two versions. The model with 4 GB memory DDR3-1, 333 MHz, comes with a dual core Intel Core i5 - 560 m running at 2.66 GHz CPU. The integrating 8 GB has a quad core i7-740QM to 1.73 GHz. The first is sold at $2,395 (approx. 1 €700), versus $2,795 (approx. 2 €000) for the other. They are currently available to the Canada and the United States.The SpaceBook 17 is very special. It has a thickness of 4.7 cm and a weight of 4.5 kg. Curiously, it does not autonomy. The computer contains a GPU NVIDIA GeForce GTX 250 M with 1 GB memory, 500 GB 7,200 RPM HDD and a DVD burner. It also uses a battery 6 cells. The purpose of this type of transportable configuration is not however enjoy a record of autonomy, but able to move his system more easilyCompared to the SpaceBook 15 that we introduced in 2009 (see), the price slightly declined, and its weight, despite the increase of the diagonal of two screens. It nevertheless remains a model for a very small niche market.
