Mitsubishi, little-known for its screens, just announced RDT233WX-Z, a screen perfect for fans of 3D embossed and those who want to reactive models. This 23-inch 1080p (95 DPI) screen works to 120 Hz, with (as a bonus) a LED backlight. The slab used IPS technology and response time announced is 5 Ms.
For the rest, it is fairly conventional: angles of vision open (thank you the IPS), 350 cd/m² brightness and 900: 1 contrast (5 000: 1 dynamic). There are the usual entries: a VGA, an HDCP compatible DVI - attention, a DualLink connector is necessary to achieve 120 Hz - and two HDMI inputs, while the standard is indicated. The screen integrates two 3W speakers and proposes an analogue audio output, for those who use a HDMI entry.
Not announced prices, but the features are interesting for players, often confined to the 120 Hz TN slabs.
