Sony Vaio Z A external light peak GPU Radeon

The best of both worlds for the replacement of Targus and Office.

Sony took the veil on its new high premium notebook of range, the series Vaio Z with some quite interesting expansion options.

The Vaio Z is super-travel-loan with a weight of approximately 1.18 kg or 2.6 lbs and a thickness of 16.65 mm or just below 0.66 inch. Despite its small size, it is robust with a composition of carbon fibre.

The 13.1-inch screen has a resolution of 1600 x 900 with anti-glare coating. Various configurations include Intel Core i7 processors and SSD fast as optional battery sheet secondary storage provides up to 14 hours of use.

While the roadwarriors will love the Vaio Z for portability and the reason for speed, this book of fantasy can shine with some extra power with a docking expansion called media power dock.

Notable on the dock in media power is that it contains an AMD Radeon HD 6650M with 1 GB of DDR3 memory, which incorporates the integrated Intel Graphics 3000 HD graphics functions. The discrete GPU can be an additional three external screens with a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1200 through VGA and HDMI output.

More just packing a GPU, the power of the sports media as an optical drive Bay which can be specified with a Blu - ray disc or a combo of SuperMulti drive.

Power media dock has obviously large I/O requirements with the laptop, and that is facilitated by the architecture known as 'Peak of light'. Apparently, it cannot be called Thunderbolt because it uses a USB connector interface rather than the DisplayPort Apple first put in place earlier this year. When the optical on exclusive Sony cable is not plugged into the notebook, the port can function as a regular USB 3.0/2.0.

With respect to pricing, premium Vaio line not has never been good walks. Expect prices start in the range of $2 000 and in the range of $3000 depending on the configuration and the wharf of media power.
