ZOTAC GeForce GTX 670 TwinCooler: Very short CG and overclockée

The Chinese manufacturer Zotac launches a very short GTX 670, overclockées of plant and having frequencies of a House, the TwinCooler heatpipe.

ZOTAC will soon be a GeForce GTX 670 that has the particularity to be very short, less than 18 cm, because with the PCB of the GTX 670 of reference NVIDIA but by taking away cooling at the end of card system which then rallongeait all.

The GeForce GTX 670 TwinCooler is then a compact stencil (177.8 x 111.2 mm x 35 mm) adopter then a heatpipe dual fan 80 mm responsible for blowing on a finned aluminum radiator, all occupying therefore two slots in the housing.

ZOTAC not content with planing GTX 670 size allows even to overclock all frequencies of plant for the GPU with 954/1033 MHz in standard/GPU Boost and video memory with 1552 MHz for the 2 GB of GDDR5 (against 915/980/1502 MHz on the classic GTX 670).

The map always has 2 6-pin PCI-e connectors to feed and its double rear bracket offers four video outputs including two ports DVI Dual-Link, 1 1 4 HDMI and a DisplayPort 1.2 port. The map is expected for June 20 at a rate not specified.

We will of course try to us available to gauge its performance and especially to test the effectiveness of the TwinCooler to the level of heat dissipation and noise to cool a powerful GPU on a small PCB.


Galaxy GeForce GTX 680 GC 2 GB, overclockée and customized

The Galaxy manufacturer launches a new model GTX 680 overclockée plant and equipped with a customized heatpipe, the GeForce GTX 680 GC 2 Go.


Galaxy released a new version of the GeForce GTX 680, called GeForce GTX 680 GC 2 GB, at frequencies GPU overclockées of plant and equipped with a cooling House system.

Thus this new card is his GK104 beat at 1110 Mhz/1176 Mhz in standard/GPU Boost mode against 1006 Mhz/1058 Mhz initially, the 2 GB of GDDR5 remain for their processors 1502 Mhz as recommended by NVIDIA. Custom cooling system consists of a wide radiator finned aluminum crossed by several heat pipes in nickel plated copper, all being cooled by the breath of two fans of 92 mm in diameter, a fairing aluminium enclosing all.

Map is 25.4 cm long and 11.10 cm high, it has two slots and feeds via two connectors PCI-e 6 + 8 pine. Outputs video proposed are identical to those of the reference map to two DVI ports, an HDMI 1 4A taking and a DisplayPort 1.2.


The price and the date of release of this model in France have not yet been specified by the manufacturer.

HD 6850 overclockée in Sapphire

Sapphire presents a new version of the Radeon HD 6850, coupled with its Vapor-X heatpipe.

This map is based as the reference model, with 960 stream processors and 48 TPU (Texture Processing Units), but its frequencies are reviewed on the rise with 800 MHz in the heart and 1.1 GHz memory.

It is of course to the solution of cooling House Vapor-X contain this rise in frequencies. An efficient heatpipe which should leave to the overclocking enthusiasts a little margin to fun with TriXX, the tool of OC without charge provided by Sapphire.

On the dual-slot of this adapter bracket, there are two outputs DVI, a HDMI and two mini DisplayPort. Using two DVI and two DisplayPort, may use up to four screens feature Eyefinity. Note that the HDMI port is the standard 1-4, and therefore compatible with the 3D functions. Expected now to see the first listings of this map by cyber-merchants to know when it will be available, and at what price.
