They also offer protection against x-ray, shock and water, resistance to extreme temperatures, a system of correction (ECC) error and a write-protection switch. These memory cards should be in shops soon at rates not disclosed at this time.

No this is not a game Game Boy cartridge, it is the packaging of the MX SSD - Ultra Jet.

Available in versions 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB, these SSD are equipped with chip NAND Flash type MLC, 64 MB of cache memory, support the TRIM command, have a MTBF of 1.5 million hours. The used controller is however not mentioned. At the level of the technical characteristics, the 64 GB model is given for 180 MB/s read, 90 MB/s write and up to 15,000 IOPS, the models of 128 and 256 GB offer to 270 MB / s read, 180 MB / s write and up to 15,000 IOPS.

Transfer rates are not exorbitant but for advertised rates of €70 for the 64 GB (€1.09 /Go), €120 128 GB (€0.94 /Go) and €220 256 GB (€0.86 /Go) is a good way to try this new technology without to ruin. The guarantee proposed by MX Technology is however only 1 year (what about reliability?) and the availability in stores is announced for April 23, 2012.

Ultra HDTV has its standard: 7680 x 4320 for our TV!

The democratization of the Full HD 1080p standard is not completed, even, that his successor already point the tip of his nose...

Ultra-HDTV

TV Ultra high definition (UHDTV) already sees its technical characteristics defined by the experts of ITU (International Telecommunication Union) and it is indeed already in experimentation at the Japan on the NHK channel.

A resolution of 7680 x 4320 (definition 8 K) displayed images are then composed of 33 million pixels "only" 2 million for the current 1080p or a nose and incomparable image quality 16 times more. Of course the sound part will not left since the standard specifications provide support of 22.2 channels (!).

A first model of compatible TV of a diagonal of 85 inches has already presented by Sharp in September last at the IFA in Berlin show. Unfortunately, the arrival on the market for televisions UHDTV is not expected before 2020, but demonstrations are expected during the London Olympic Games in 2012 in some public places with retransmission of certain events captured in 4320p.

In the meantime, the transition will be surely format Quad Full HD (3840 x 2160 pixels - definition 4 K) already in force in some cinemas and may be available on future consoles PS4 and Xbox 3...
