Corsair Force 3 and Force GT Ssds now with 90 GB

Corsair now also has a 90 GB variant of its Force 3 and Force GT SSD to its range added. The company thus tries to persuade consumers to withdraw that the 60 GB version to something small, but not so much extra to pay for the 120 GB variants of both SSD 's. According to the specifications, these 90 GB models as fast as their ilk, which in the case of the GT Force the faster synchronous MLC flash memory is applied. In the Force 3 we find asynchronously MLC memory, as we also know of the OCZ Agility3 series SSD 's.

The new Force GT 90 GB gets on paper up to 555 MB/s read and 505 MB/sec when writing data. The Force 3 90 GB is marginally slower with respectively 550 and 500 MB/s read and write files. Both Ssds would, provided that the ' alignment ' of the file system is properly carried out, a maximum of 85,000 IOPS. The Force GT has a maximum power consumption of 2.5 watts, the Force 3 is what more economical with up to 2 Watts. Both SSDS have of course a SATA 6 Gbps connection and a 2.5 '' size casing. A 2.5 "to 3.5" adapter isby Corsair included.

At the time of this writing, there are already several webshops two 90 GB SSDs in their assortment. The Force Series 3 90 GB starts at about € 130, while the marginally faster and red colored Force GT variant minimum 160 € must muster.
