AMD launches two new Llano bi-hearts

The California firm AMD has launched a pair of new APU A-Series. These Llano are first bi-hearts of the range!

AMD Fusion

AMD take re-entry to expand its range of APU (Accelerated Processing Unit). You thus discover new Llano in tariff listing of Sunnyvale firm. These A-Series logically take place in a socket FM1. Two new fleas of the day are the first available with two hearts of executions. A4-3300 is running at 2.50 GHz while the A4-3400 reached 2.70 GHz. These two APU also include a Radeon HD 6410D. This graphics solution is compatible DirectX 11. It has 160 stream processors, and is dual-core 600 MHz (A4-3400) or 443 MHz (A4-3300).

The A-Series are equipped with a memory controller supporting the DDR3 to 1600 MHz on two channels and 1 MB L2 cache. These two new processors have a TDP of 65 watts. They are marketed to 64 and 69 $ official rates. The A4-3300/3400, therefore, are less expensive than the A6-3500 (a triple 89 dollars sold hearts), as well as the Athlon II X 4 631 (a quadri-hearts at 79 $, which is however without GPU). It remains to see if the performance is sufficient to justify the choice of an APU other present solutions on the market.
