Acer is the second big seller of computers in the world behind HP and the Taiwanese company has well take advantage of its position to expand its operations and strengthen its supply side services. It is in this light that the firm has just announced the iGware, for redemption sum of $ 320 million. A large sum, especially for the redemption of a unknown California company to the consumer.


But iGware is one of many players in a market growing, cloud-computing, and counts to its portfolio of clients a few famous names, such as Nintendo who entrusted services online of its game consoles. IGware infrastructure are apparently very interesting for Acer, which account to use it to develop its online service offer.


Services that will be grouped behind the Acer Cloud mark, which should be launched next year. CEO of Acer, JT Wang, evokes a secure environment that will be opened to all products Acer, smart phones to tablets, without of course forgetting the PC.
