China is renowned for having a more than flexible management of the concepts of intellectual property and trademark law. Yet Apple has obtained from the Chinese city of Kunming whether to store fully copying the concept of the Apple Store.
Local authorities have therefore ordered the counterfeiters to discontinue the use of the mark Apple and these stores have been renamed "Smart Store" (or intelligent store) successfully. A name probably inspired by the Genius bar, the service of Apple's SAV.
Has the Interior changes but at least sign claiming more as an official Apple reseller. All products sold inside appear to be legal.
