Samsung to defend themselves.
Yesterday, Apple has obtained a preliminary injunction of the Court of Düsseldorf in Germany temporarily banning the sale of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 Samsung shelves in Europe. In the aftermath, Samsung issued a press release:
Samsung is disappointed by the decision of justice, and we intend to respond immediately to defend our rights through the legal proceedings under way in Germany, and we will continue to defend the world. The application for interim relief has been made without that Samsung is to be warned, and the decision was made without any hearing or presentation of the defence of Samsung. We will take all necessary measures to ensure that innovative mobile communication devices from Samsung are available for customers in Europe and around the world. The decision of the Court in Germany not influence any other legal procedures to the various courts in Europe and elsewhere.
The Korean company has well to defend himself, but during this time, the sale of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is suspended as a preventive measure to prevent potential harm. Only the final judgment to permanently ban the sale of the Tablet Samsung in Europe. Otherwise, Apple will probably compensate Samsung for losses related to the withdrawal of the Galaxy Tab 10.1.
