Nintendo: shareholders want to invest the iPhone

After the announcement of a first "game" Pokémon on iPhone, some users could expect to see Mario and iconic figures of Nintendo on iOS. However, this is not news. The Japanese manufacturer wishes to continue to build on its own supports, 3DS, and Wii. Yet, the shareholders of the Japanese firm does not the ear fit.

According to Bloomberg, Nintendo would suffer a strong pressure on the part of its investors to migrate its content on smartphones, starting with iOS and Android. The will of the President of Nintendo Satoru Iwata to develop titles for its house platforms seems to annoy them. They would thus benefit from a strong growth market is one of the smartphones but also the games within social networks.

Reminder, Nintendo announced a significant decrease in the price of its last terminal, the 3DS: $ 249 (launch price), it would fall to $169 a few months only after its marketing. A price decline felt as an admission of failure by many observers.

The Nintendo 3DS passes to 170 EUR
