A screen 3D "playstation" for players

Sony has presented the CECH-ZED1, a screen "PlayStation". Scheduled for fall 2011 at a price of $500, this 24-inch screen is dedicated to the Sony console.

Sony limited the diagonal, but offers interesting: he works in 1,920 x 1,080 with PVA slab - like in many of TVs Sony - and a contrast of 5000: 1. The angles of view are very large (normal in PVA) with 176 ° in each direction and the response time is 4 ms. For lighting, it is a "edge led" system is used: LEDs placed on the sides of the screen to illuminate the slab.

Interesting point, the screen will be compatible with the 3D embossed and will be delivered with a pair of active glasses, allowing to propose 3D 1,920 x 1,080 on each eye. Small novelty, it is also possible to play two on the same screen with this screen: if it has two pairs of glasses, each player will receive its image, the console is loading synchronize players and sunglasses. It is a system closer to splittés screens that are found on the consoles of the 90's but with a complete picture for each player. Let us hope that the crosstalk (the mix of images) is low, many televisions 3D suffering from this problem. Note that the console cannot exceed the 720 p in this game mode, as in 3D.

For the rest, the screen is fairly complete at the connector level: two HDMI inputs, a YUV input, audio input, audio output and compatibility with the "Blu - ray" of Sony remote control. For sound, two speakers are integrated (3 W) and a "subwoofer" 5 w. The screen will be sold $500 with a pair of glasses and they will be also proposed only for $70. Sunglasses do in USB and Sony announced to 30 hours.

Sony screen, is compatible HDMI 1.4, could also be of interest to the PC, the PVA is rare in the computer world slabs players.
