OCZ adds IOPS line of SSD of Vertex 3 Edition

New 128 GB Vertex 3 edition of the OCZ SSD IOPS Max has a 4 KB of 75,000 IOPS random write performance.

OCZ Tuesday said added to solid state drives Max IOPS Edition to its Vertex current 3 line. Arriving in two titles, players combine controller SF-2200 of the SandForce with "prime" MLC NAND flash components to produce a 4 KB IOPS random write performance up to 75,000.

"After the successful launch of our solid state Vertex 3 SATA III 6 GB/S drives, we are pleased to present the new edition of Max IOPS,", said Ryan Petersen, CEO of OCZ Technology Group. "Vertex 3 Max IOPS readers increase random write performance and the storage solution ideal for applications that require high overall work expenses and an increase in flows of IO."

Available in capacities of 120 and 240 GB, sequential drives offer read speeds up to 550 MB/s sequential write speeds up to 500 MB/s interface SATA 6 GBS. The 120 GB model performs random write 4 KB (aligned) 75,000 IOPS while the version of 240 GB wrote to 65 000 IOPS. 4 KB random reads are 35 000 IOPS and 55,000 IOPS respectively.

As for other specifications, the new edition of IOPS Max Vertex 3 discs feature a time to look for 0, 1-ms, native support for TRIM and RAID configurations and a 2 million hours MTBF. 2.5 SSD inches come also with a range of 3.5-inch adapter for mounting in the frame of your Office.
