At the CES in Las Vegas last week, Nvidia has been very discreet on Kepler, its new generation of GPU engraved in 28 nm. And this then that the Tegra 3, its SoC for mobile terminals, showed everywhere.

In fact, it would seem that the California skier would not like to make such as AMD announcing a product that is not available immediately. A reminder, the Radeon HD 7970 was announced on 22 December 2011 for effective availability on 9 January 2012 either two weeks later. While other 28 nm of AMD GPUS are carried over in February.

First Kepler-based graphics cards would therefore, for their part, delayed to late March or early April to allow time to Nvidia and its partners out plants enough products for availability in stores that would be parallel to the announcement.
