Facebook launches chat application

Facebook says as an alternative to e-mail.

The Facebook has just launched a new application for iPhone and iPod touch: Facebook Messenger. As its name indicates, this software is only aimed to manage private messages and instant messaging in the social network. It is also possible to send a message to several contacts at a time and directly call friends on their mobile phone, if information is available. In addition, a map showing the position of the contacts is also present. Here again, we must use Liexu (Places in English) to be location-based.
