Last Sunday, Apple opened its first store in Alaska. It is located at 320 West 5th Avenue in the city of Anchorage. It is probably the most eccentric boutique on the continent. Indeed, in a strange way, Apple is not yet present in all U.S. States since seven of them are still spared by Apple Madness: Arkansas, Montana, the North Dakota, the South Dakota, Vermont, Wyoming, and the State of West Virginia.

During the weekend, Apple also opened four other Apple Store in the world: a boutique in Utah to the United States, one in the town of Cheltenham in Australia, another at Waterloo at the Canada and finally, a shop in Florence in Italy Europe. Last July, Apple announced the opening of 33 new stores by 30 September. It remains therefore a little less than two months to Apple to open still 26 shops and reach the figure of 363 Apple Store in the world at the end of the fiscal year 2011.
