The Operating Systems Solutions business continues Apple to use one of its technologies and the infringement of a patent for rapid startup of an operating system. Initially assigned to the Korean giant LG Electronics, in 2002, the patent belongs now to this company, Operating Systems Solutions, which has no visibility on the Internet. No one knows how this patent came to this company and if LG is involved in this case.
The patent describes a system for saving the settings "Power – on Self Test" (POST) on the hard disk to speed up the startup of the machine, a technology that is therefore currently used by Apple on the Mac. Operating Systems Solutions complaint was filed before the Court for the Middle district of Florida.
