The breakthrough of the iPad is less important than the United States.

According to a study of the law firm Forrester 13 886 adults living in France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom, only 3% of respondents have a touch Tablet and the margin of change is still very wide. It appears also that Apple undergoes most pressure of competition in Europe and the United States. Indeed, the iPad should represent 70% of the market on the old Continent from 80% to the across the Atlantic.

The Apple distribution network would be pointing the finger. The Cupertino firm accounts for only 52 Apple Store in Europe including 30 in the United Kingdom and France 6, against 238 shops in the United States. The iPad is still very largely the success of the iPhone, but the arrival of the new Android tablets based on Ice-Cream Sandwich and Tegra 3 could do harm to the Apple tablet.
