A fourth version of DSS PCI-Express in OCZ

OCZ unveiled its fourth generation of SSD PCI-Express for the professional market, the Z-Drive R4.

Two versions will be proposed:

The first will be the form of a PCI-Express demi-format card and will carry not less than 4 SandForce SF - 2000 implemented RAID controllers that can reach the 2 GB/s read and write with 250000 IOPS/sec. They will be available in 300, 600 and 1200 second Go.Le will have a full format and will have 8 controllers! It will be proposed in 800 GB, 1.6 To and 3.2 To, would reach 2.8 GB/s rates, and can manage 410000 IOPS.

Note that to avoid that their price is entirely fatal, OCZ uses MLC memory.
