Announced the beginning of December, the Meizu MX could have been the first smartphone shipping quad-core processor, but it is ultimately a dual core version that was presented for a launch in China as early as the month of January 2012.
A variant of the Meizu MX quadcore however remains topical and one of the representatives of the company, Jack Wong (a time CEO of Meizu) indicated that it could be available within the month of may 2012.
Samsung for the quad-core?
It should be accompanied by a new version of the wrapper touch Flyme OS for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to term equip the Mezu MX models. Early January delivered version will carry a signed core Samsung dual processor.
The quad-core model might call the processor Exynos 4412 quad-core (ARM Cortex-A9) of the Korean group. Meizu MX quadcore processor provider was the subject of speculation in recent months.
Reminder, Meizu MX is a smartphone with 16 to 32 GB of internal storage space and a display 4.3 "qHD (960 x 540 pixels) with AFN 8 megapixels on the back. The dual core model will be marketed in China for the equivalent of €350.
