The Amazon Group welcomed its Kindle strategy and gives as always the broad lines of its success, without forward precise figures. The company however announced that of millions of tablets Kindle Fire and of reading Kindle was passed in December, with more than a million of Kindle devices sold each week.
The last members of the Kindle range are found in the top of the sales of electronic products of Amazon, in the following order: Kindle Fire, Kindle Touch and Kindle. This success far exceeds the market US (outside the Fire Kindle, only available in the United States) since the Kindle products are at the top of the products requested on Amazon at the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Italy...and France.
Lights... and with ebooks
As December 25 last year beat the record of downloads of ebooks Kindle while the Kindle Fire tablet was also the star of the products requested on mobile versions of the Amazon portal, as Web site or dedicated application.
The American Group welcomes also the benefits of its ecosystem for ebooks in noting that two of the most sold digital books in 2011 are from self-publishing Kindle Direct Publishing system (accessible by France since the month of October 2011) allowing authors to publish their works on the Kindle Portal directly.
